As part of its continuous commitment to ensuring and
improving the quality of its study programmes, Biznesi College held a meeting
to review the results of the Labour Market Study and Needs Analysis for
Study Programmes.
During the meeting, the main findings of the study
were presented and discussed. The study was conducted with representatives of
private companies, public institutions, public enterprises, non-governmental
organisations, financial institutions, educational institutions, and other
organisations from different cities across Kosovo.
The discussion focused on labour market demand for
professional profiles related to the study programmes offered by Biznesi
College, the competencies employers expect from graduates, the importance of
practical experience, the development of digital skills and the use of
contemporary technologies, as well as employers' expectations regarding labour
market developments in the coming years.
The meeting also addressed the recommendations arising
from the study and the possibilities for incorporating them into the processes
of reviewing and improving the study programmes. Particular emphasis was placed
on strengthening the practical component of study programmes,
developing professional and transferable competencies, integrating digital
technologies and artificial intelligence, and expanding cooperation with
employers.
The heads of study programmes and academic staff will
review the findings and recommendations relevant to their respective
programmes, with the aim of taking them into consideration during the review of
curricula, course syllabi, and practical activities.
This process forms part of Biznesi College's internal
quality assurance mechanisms and aims to ensure that the development of study
programmes is evidence-based, informed by stakeholder consultation, and aligned
with the current and future needs of the labour market.
