Study Visit of Biznesi College Students to the Police Station in Ferizaj

As part of the activities of Biznesi Summer School 2026, students from the Bachelor's Programme in Emergency Management, the Master's Programme in Management and Finance, and the Bachelor's Programme in Management and Economics participated in a study visit to the Police Station in Ferizaj to gain first-hand insight into the organization, operations, and responsibilities of the Kosovo Police.

During the visit, students were welcomed by representatives of the Police Station, who introduced them to the organizational structure of the institution, the functioning of the administrative department, administrative procedures, and the processes involved in providing services to citizens. Students learned about case management, documentation procedures, coordination between police units, and the importance of complying with legal and administrative regulations in daily police operations.

A special part of the visit focused on the role of the Kosovo Police in emergency management. Police representatives explained the operational procedures for responding to emergency situations, cooperation with other public safety and rescue institutions, coordination during natural disasters, traffic accidents, and security incidents, as well as the challenges encountered in ensuring public safety and maintaining order.

Through interactive discussions, students had the opportunity to ask questions and exchange ideas with police officers, gaining practical insights into the importance of planning, institutional communication, rapid decision-making, and effective coordination in emergency management and public security.

The study visit to the Police Station in Ferizaj represents another important activity within Biznesi Summer School 2026, reflecting Biznesi College's commitment to connecting academic learning with institutional practice and strengthening cooperation with public institutions to support students' professional development.
