Civil Court Hearing Simulation Held as Part of Biznesi Summer School 2026

As part of the activities of Biznesi Summer School 2026, students from the Bachelor's Programme in Law (LL.B.) participated in a Civil Court Hearing Simulation based on a practical case concerning the dissolution of marriage (divorce proceedings).

The primary objective of this simulation was to provide students with practical experience in the organization and conduct of civil court proceedings, enabling them to apply the legal knowledge acquired throughout their studies in a realistic courtroom environment.

The simulation was conducted in accordance with the principles and procedures of civil litigation. The hearing was presided over by the presiding judge, assisted by a judicial panel composed of two lay judges. The proceedings included the claimant and her legal representative, as well as the defendant and his legal representative, who presented their legal arguments, evidence, and procedural submissions in accordance with civil procedure rules.

Through this practical exercise, students enhanced their understanding of civil law and court procedures while strengthening their skills in legal reasoning, advocacy, case analysis, professional communication, and courtroom ethics. The simulation also encouraged critical thinking and collaborative learning, helping students gain valuable practical experience in the field of law.

Activities such as this reflect Biznesi College's commitment to practice-oriented legal education by providing students with authentic learning experiences that bridge academic knowledge and professional practice, while preparing them for future careers in the legal profession.
